Our story
Gallery Cho, located in Taipei, Taiwan, is an art and design exhibition space established by Yen-Ting Cho and Jamie Gilham, the co-founders of award-winning international design company YEN TING CHO Studio. The gallery promotes contemporary art and design, especially digital media, through engagement with both domestic and international audiences.
Gallery Cho hosts exhibitions and related events throughout the year. Besides showcasing the work of YEN TING CHO Studio, the gallery exhibits work by or in collaboration with creatives – artists, designers, makers, writers, thinkers – from diverse backgrounds and disciplines.
Gallery Cho places a strong emphasis on education with carefully curated exhibitions revealing conceptual motivations, research and development, applications and results of projects, as well as connected lectures and talks, seminars, workshops, hackathons and other activities open to anyone with an inquisitive mind.
Through collaboration and public engagement, we aim to contribute to the creative energy of Taipei and elevate Taiwan on the international stage.

Meet Yen-Ting Cho
Dr. Yen-Ting Cho is a designer, artist and researcher with expertise in fashion and textiles design, and interdisciplinary digital design methods, including architecture, interaction design, and animation. He has a PhD in Innovation Design Engineering (IDE) from the Royal College of Art (RCA), London; and a Master’s degree from the Graduate School of Design (GSD), Harvard University.
He was awarded Film Study Center Harvard Fellowships and his animation practice has received awards internationally. He has worked at INVIVIA (Cambridge, MA), and designed interactions for Microsoft Surface, GSD and the Guggenheim Museum, New York. He was a visiting tutor in IDE at the RCA where his doctoral research was on ‘Cubic Film: Interdisciplinary Development of a Digital Participatory Moving Image Medium’.
Since 2016, Yen-Ting Cho has directed YenTing Cho Studio, a British-based digital design studio and consultancy with the brand YenTing Cho and offices in London and Tainan City, Taiwan. The YenTing Cho brand of luxury fashion and interior design products is retailed in boutiques and stores across Asia, Europe and the USA, including the Museum of Arts & Design in New York City and San Francisco Museum of Modern Art. Commissions and exhibitions include Camden Arts Centre (London), Manchester Science Festival and curation of ‘Movement – Pattern – Object’ exhibition for the Taiwan Design Expo 2018.
In addition to his corporate design work, Yen-Ting Cho is also an Associate Professor at the Institute of Creative Industries Design and Master Program on Techno Art at National Cheng Kung University, Taiwan, and a consultant for the university’s Culture and Creativity Incubation and R&D Center.
